We want your workshop experience with GINALADÉCO to be relaxed, creative, and enjoyable from start to finish. Because every workshop requires preparation, materials and a reserved time slot, the following policy applies to all workshop bookings. 

Please read this policy carefully before booking.

1. Workshop Bookings

Your workshop booking is confirmed once your booking has been completed and payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed with us in writing.

By booking a workshop, you agree to the workshop date, time, number of participants, price and the cancellation conditions outlined below.

For private workshops, baby showers, birthdays, team events and other group bookings, the person making the booking is responsible for providing the correct booking information and communicating the relevant details to the other participants.

2. Cancelling Your Workshop

We understand that plans can change. However, because workshop dates are reserved especially for you and materials and preparations are arranged in advance, the following cancellation policy applies:

• More than 72 hours before the workshop:
  You may cancel your booking free of charge and receive a full refund.
  
• Less than 72 hours before the workshop:
  The booking is non-refundable.

Cancellation requests must be sent by email to info@ginaladeco.com.

The time at which we receive your cancellation email will be used to determine which cancellation period applies.

3. Rescheduling Your Workshop

If you are unable to attend, we may be able to move your booking to another available date.

• More than 72 hours before the workshop, you may request to reschedule once, subject to availability.
  
• Within 72 hours of the workshop, rescheduling is normally no longer possible.

Any rescheduled workshop must take place within 3 months of the original workshop date, unless otherwise agreed.

Rescheduling is always subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed for a particular date. 

4. Changes to the Number of Participants

For private and group workshops, please let us know about any changes to the number of participants as early as possible.

A reduction in participant numbers:

• More than 72 hours before the workshop, may be adjusted and refunded where applicable.
  
• Within 72 hours of the workshop, cancelled participant places are non-refundable.

Additional participants can only be added if there is sufficient space and materials available.

A minimum booking of 4 participants applies. If fewer than 4 participants attend, the minimum booking price for 4 participants remains payable.

5. Late Arrivals & No-Shows

Please arrive on time so that you can enjoy the full workshop experience.

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, the workshop will still finish at the originally scheduled time. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we reserve the right to refuse entry to the workshop.

If you do not attend your workshop and have not cancelled within the applicable cancellation period, the booking will be considered a no-show and no refund will be provided.

Missed workshop time cannot be refunded.

6. Cancellation by GINALADÉCO

GINALADÉCO is a one-woman business. If Gina, the owner and workshop host, becomes ill or is unexpectedly unable to host the workshop, there is no additional staff member or replacement host available to take over.

In rare circumstances, a workshop may therefore need to be cancelled or rescheduled due to illness, an emergency, unsafe circumstances, or another situation outside our reasonable control.

If GINALADÉCO cancels your workshop, you may choose between moving your booking to another available date, or receiving a full refund of the amount paid for the workshop.

We understand that cancellations can be disappointing and will always do our best to give you as much notice as possible.

7. Travel, Accommodation & Other Additional Costs

Any travel, accommodation, parking, childcare, or other arrangements made in connection with attending a workshop are made separately and at your own responsibility.

If a workshop is cancelled or rescheduled, GINALADÉCO will not reimburse separately booked costs such as:

• Hotel or accommodation costs
• Train, flight, taxi, or fuel costs
• Parking costs
• Childcare costs
• Other third-party bookings or expenses

This does not affect any rights you may have under mandatory consumer law.

We therefore recommend choosing flexible or refundable travel and accommodation arrangements where possible.

8. Workshop Materials

All materials needed for the workshop will be provided unless otherwise stated in the workshop description.

Because our workshops involve handmade products and creative processes, small differences between examples, colors, textures, fragrances, finishes, or final results are normal.

Your finished item may not look exactly the same as examples shown online or during the workshop.

9. Safety During the Workshop

Our candle-making workshops may involve hot wax, fragrance oils, heated equipment, glassware, and other workshop materials.

For your safety, please follow all instructions given by the workshop host.

Participants are responsible for informing us in advance of any allergies, sensitivities, accessibility requirements, or other circumstances that may be relevant to participating safely.

GINALADÉCO cannot guarantee that workshop spaces or materials are completely free from allergens or fragrance ingredients.

If you are pregnant or have a medical condition and are unsure whether participation is suitable for you, we recommend seeking appropriate medical advice before attending.

10. Damage to Property

Participants are expected to treat workshop equipment, materials, venues, and property with reasonable care.

If damage is caused intentionally or through clearly careless behavior, we reserve the right to charge the responsible participant for reasonable repair or replacement costs.

11. Photos & Social Media

We may occasionally take photos or short videos during workshops for our website or social media.

We will always respect your wishes and ask you beforehand if you wish to appear on camera or not. We will not take images or videos of you without your permission.

12. Force Majeure

GINALADÉCO cannot be held responsible for being unable to perform a workshop due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These circumstances may include, for example:

• Government restrictions
• Severe weather or natural disasters
• Fire or flooding
• Power failures
• Transport disruptions
• Epidemics or other serious unforeseen events

Depending on the circumstances, we may postpone, relocate, or cancel the workshop.

If the workshop cannot reasonably be rescheduled, the amount paid for the workshop will be refunded.

13. Complaints or Problems

We genuinely want you to have a good experience. If something did not go as expected during your workshop, please contact us as soon as possible.
